Three wonderful women who have inspired, helped and supported me.
Sarah Trangmar: My wife and best friend Sarah introduced me to Pilates. It was her Kinesiology that helped me perform the elusive 'Roll Up'. I lost count of the number of hours Sarah was my 'teaching guinea pig' and I have almost forgiven her for deliberately getting things wrong to see if I noticed..... Her encyclopedic mind for Anatomy & Physiology is invaluable and apart from being a on going sounding board for my ideas, without her loving support and help, I'd had given up long ago.
Jenni Guest: Jenni was my main Polestar Instructor and it took her two, long years, training me to be a teacher. Her kindness, patience and serenity fielding my dumb questions knew no bounds! Jenni let me share her 'gig' countless times and was AMAZING at giving me confidence when I used to get 'stage fright'. Whenever I feel my coaching is becoming too 'gym oriented', I return to watch her in action. For 'Matrix' fans, it's like a need to periodically 'return to the source code'...
Kerry Hardacre: I met Kerry in 2006 - she was the Pilates Instructor at my gym. Her gentle nature and concept of 'less is more' saved me from the tyranny of ab-crunches. It was Kerry who utterly inspired me to want to be a teacher and, although I am "all growed up now", I still enjoy and benefit from attending her classes.
